What is the most common directional control valve?

2024-11-29

The most common directional control valve is the reversing valve.

Directional control valves are referred to as directional valves. They are mainly used to open and close the oil circuit or switch the direction of the oil flow to meet the requirements of the start, stop and movement direction of the actuator. According to their uses, they can be divided into two categories: one-way valves and reversing valves. Reversing valves can change the flow direction of gas or liquid and are widely used in hydraulic systems. For example, two-position two-way valves, two-position three-way valves, two-position four-way valves, three-position four-way valves, three-position five-way valves, etc. are all common types of reversing valves. These valves control the movement of the valve core through different operating methods (such as manual, electromagnetic, hydraulic, etc.), thereby changing the connection state of the oil circuit and realizing precise control of the movement direction of the actuator.
